GED GRADUATION, 11.20.09

The ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ reverberated through the hall once again for HANAC-BWS GED Graduation. The recent graduates some already enrolled in CUNY schools, some are working, and some on the wings of either employment or post secondary education had the time of their lives soaking in their accomplishments that others are still working on.

Melissa Mark-Viverito, Council Member of the 8th District, of Manhattan took time from her busy schedule to address the graduates. She was joined by other speakers, Maritza K. Pritsos, Program Director & Beverly Campbell, Site Supervisor in congratulating, encouraging, and empowering them to move on, and scale heights the world has opened up for them.

The graduates’ response was led by Loretta Gaillard, Andrene Reid and Saoirse McLaverty.
